Dear colleagues,
as a Grant Awarding Coordinator in the COST Action CA20139 – Holistic design of taller timber buildings, I want to inform you that the 3rd call for Short Term Scientific Missions will be open from 16th December to 31st December 2022. In the 1st project period, 6 STSMs were successfully finished. In the new Grant Period, we will try to fund even more STSMs. In this call, the plan is to give funds to 4 applicants. Participation of young researchers and innovators in STSMs is particularly encouraged. The applications received will be evaluated and STSMs will be awarded based on scientific merit and available budget. COST Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) representation, geographical diversity, gender balance and empowerment of Young Researchers and Innovators will be respected in the selection process. Each STSM must start before 1 st June. There will be a new Call in May for stays in the period June – November.
COST also provides ITC grants. Any e-COST user who is a Ph.D. student or an Early Career Investigator (ECI) and is affiliated with an institution located in an ITC1 country participating in the Action can submit an application request for an ITC Conference Grant.
